Kakuryu Promoted As The 71th Yokozuna In History
The Nihon Sumo Kyokai is proud to announce that on March 26, 2014, following a special board of directors meeting, Ozeki Kakuryu (Izutsu Beya) was promoted to the rank of Yokozuna. He now becomes the 71th yokozuna in history.
